  • Dark Energy Survey Year 3 results: wCDM cosmology from simulation-based inference with persistent homology on the sphere
We present cosmological constraints from Dark Energy Survey Year 3 (DES Y3) weak lensing data using persistent homology, a topological data analysis technique that tracks how features like clusters and voids evolve across density thresholds. For the first time, we apply spherical persistent homology to galaxy survey data through the algorithm

  • COSMOS2025: The COSMOS-Web galaxy catalog of photometry, morphology, redshifts, and physical parameters from JWST, HST, and ground-based imaging
We present COSMOS2025, the COSMOS-Web catalog of photometry, morphology, photometric redshifts, and physical parameters for more than 700 000 galaxies in the Cosmic Evolution Survey (COSMOS) field. This catalog is based on our James Webb Space Telescope 255 h COSMOS-Web program, which provides deep near-infrared imaging in four NIRCam (F115W, F150W

  • Constraining the Stellar-to-Halo Mass Relation with Galaxy Clustering and Weak Lensing from DES Year 3 Data
We develop a framework to study the relation between the stellar mass of a galaxy and the total mass of its host dark matter halo using galaxy clustering and galaxy-galaxy lensing measurements. We model a wide range of scales, roughly from to , using a theoretical framework based on the Halo Occupation Distribution and data from Year 3 of the Dark

  • Chronology of our Galaxy from Gaia colour-magnitude diagram fitting (ChronoGal): IV. The inner Milky Way stellar age distribution
The Milky Way's inner region is dominated by a stellar bar and a boxy-peanut-shaped bulge. However, which stellar populations inhabit the inner Galaxy or how star formation proceeded there is still unknown. The difficulty in studying these stars stems from their location in dense regions that are strongly impacted by extinction and crowding effects

  • Center-to-limb variations of the He I 10 830 Å triplet
We present high-resolution spectroscopic observations of the quiet-Sun center-to-limb variations (CLV) of the He I triplet at 10 830 Å and the nearby Si I 10 827 Å line, observed with GREGOR Infrared Spectrograph (GRIS) and the improved High-resolution Fast Imager (HiFI+). The observations cover the interval μ = [0.1, 1.0], where μ is the cosine of

  • Blending-induced beating and emission in the symbiotic star Terz V 2513
We present a detailed analysis of Terz V 2513 (=2MASS J17334728-2719266), a poorly studied symbiotic star. Our motivation was a peculiar beating pattern in its light curves from all-sky surveys and our own observations. Using Gaia DR3 and OGLE-IV photometry, we show that this variability arises from blending with a nearby, unrelated Mira variable
