Beam Asymmetry Σ of the π- Photoproduction off NeutronWe present the analysis of data performed in order to identify the events of the γ + n → π- + p reaction obtained by bombarding a liquid Deuterium target with a polarised γ beam of 0.55-1.5 GeV at the Graal-experiment. We show the effect of different kinematic and hardware constraints used to reduce the contamination coming from the concurrentMandaglio, G. et al.

Baryonic Matter at Supercluster Scales: The Case of the Corona Borealis SuperclusterIn a 24deg2 survey for baryonic matter at 33GHz in the Corona Borealis supercluster (CrB-SC) of galaxies (z=0.07), with the Very Small Array (VSA) interferometer (Génova-Santos et al. 2005, MNRAS 363, 79; 2008, arXiv: 0804.0199), we found a very strong temperature decrement in the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB). It has an amplitude of-230±23μKPadilla-Torres, C. P. et al.

Are the main belt comets, comets? We present the visible spectrum of asteroid-comet transition object 133P/Elst-Pizarro (7968), the first member of the new population of objects called Main Belt Comets (Hsieh & Jewitt 2006). The spectrum was obtained with the 4.2m William Herschel Telescope at the “Roque de los Muchachos” observatory. The orbital elements of 133P place it withinLicandro, J. et al.
