  • Chemical abundances of 451 stars (Neves+, 2009)
The file table1.dat lists the parameters used to assign the Galactic population to which each star belongs. Columns 2, 3, and 4 list the U,V and W velocities relative to the local standard of rest (LSR). Columns 5, 6, and 7 list the Gaussian distributions of each population: thin disc, thick disc, and halo, respectively. In Cols. 8 and 9, we

  • CdC-SF: Proper motion catalogue from Carte du Ciel plates, San Fernando Zone
We present an astrometric catalogue of positions and proper motions derived from the Carte du Ciel plates of the San Fernando zone, photographic material with a mean epoch 1901.4 with a limiting magnitude V ˜ 15. Digitization has been made using a conventional flatbed scanner. Special techniques have been developed to handle the combination of

  • Bremsstrahlung emission accompanying α-decay of deformed nuclei
A fully quantum model describing the angular distribution of the bremsstrahlung photon emission accompanying the α-decay of a deformed nucleus is presented for the first time. An analytical dependence of the bremsstrahlung probability on the quadrupole deformation parameter β of the decaying nucleus has been found. Such a model and the detailed

  • Bayesclumpy: Bayesian Inference with Clumpy Dusty Torus Models
Our aim is to present a fast and general Bayesian inference framework based on the synergy between machine learning techniques and standard sampling methods and apply it to infer the physical properties of clumpy dusty torus using infrared photometric high spatial resolution observations of active galactic nuclei. We make use of the Metropolis

  • Baryonic Matter at Supercluster Scales: The case of Corona Borealis II
In a recent survey at 33 GHz for baryonic matter at large scales in the Corona Borealis Supercluster (CrB-SC) of galaxies (z = 0.07) using the Very Small Array interferometer (VSA), covering 24^2, two strongs decrements in temperature (CrB-B and CrB-H) near the centre of the supercluster were detected. The amplitudes are -157+/-27 and -230+/-23μK
