  • CoRoT Highlights in exoplanetology
The CoRoT satellite is the first instrument hunting for planets from space. We will review the status of the CoRoT/Exoplanet program. We will then present the CoRoT exoplanetary systems and how they widen the range of exoplanet properties and contribute to our understanding of these objects.

  • Complete Photo-production Experiments
The extraction of resonance parameters from meson photo-reaction data is a challenging effort, that would greatly benefit from the availability of several polarization observables, measured for each reaction channel on both proton and neutron targets. In the aim of obtaining such complete experiments, polarized photon beams and targets have been

  • Coma Treasury Survey. Structural parameters (Hoyos+, 2011)
The observations (program GO 10861) were taken between 2006 November and 2007 January with the HST/ACS camera (2x4096x2048 pixels, 0.05arcsec/pixel, 3-arcsec interchip gap). (1 data file).

  • CaII triplet in Sextans dSph galaxy (Battaglia+, 2011)
The spectroscopic observations were carried out at VLT/FLAMES between 2003 and 2004, with the exception of one pointing which was re-observed in 2008 May, during the commissioning of the upgraded Grating Instrument for Radiation Analysis with a Fiber-FedEchelle (GIRAFFE) spectrograph CCD. • Bright mid-infrared detections of MAXI J1836-194 with VISIR on the VLT: brightening of the compact jet
The new X-ray transient MAXI J1836-194 is a black hole candidate X-ray binary (BHXB; ATel #3611, #3613, #3628 #3652). Its X-ray spectrum was seen to soften (ATel #3618, #3652) but the X-ray flux has recently decayed and the spectrum has hardened (see link below for the light curve and evolution in the X-ray hardness-intensity diagram).

  • Bayesian Magnetohydrodynamic Seismology of Coronal Loops
We perform a Bayesian parameter inference in the context of resonantly damped transverse coronal loop oscillations. The forward problem is solved in terms of parametric results for kink waves in one-dimensional flux tubes in the thin tube and thin boundary approximations. For the inverse problem, we adopt a Bayesian approach to infer the most
