  • When the horseshoe fits: Characterizing 2023 FY3 with the 10.4 m Gran Telescopio Canarias and the Two-meter Twin Telescope
Context. The Arjuna asteroid belt is loosely defined as a diverse group of small asteroids that follow dynamically cold, Earth-like orbits. Most of them are not actively engaged in resonant, co-orbital behavior with Earth. Some of them experience temporary but recurrent horseshoe episodes. Objects in horseshoe paths tend to approach Earth at a low

  • Two mini-Neptunes transiting the adolescent K-star HIP 113103 confirmed with TESS and CHEOPS
We report the discovery of two mini-Neptunes in near 2:1 resonance orbits (P = 7.610303 d for HIP 113103 b and P = 14.245651 d for HIP 113103 c) around the adolescent K-star HIP 113103 (TIC 121490076). The planet system was first identified from the TESS mission, and was confirmed via additional photometric and spectroscopic observations, including

  • Two fluid dynamics in solar prominences
Aims: Solar prominences contain a significant number of neutral species. The dynamics of the ionised and neutral fluids composing the prominence plasma can be slightly different if the collisional coupling is not strong enough. The differential dynamics can be discerned by tracing line-of-sight velocities using observational techniques. Large-scale

  • Triple-Double Radio Galaxies: Clues for understanding recurrent AGN activity
Using LOFAR Two-metre Sky Survey (LoTSS), we discovered three cycles of episodic jet activity (J1225+4011, Chavan et al. 2023, MNRAS) in a giant radio galaxy, which is an extremely rare class of restarted Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN), making it only fourth of its kind. It is also called 'Triple-Double Radio Galaxy' (TDRG). J1225+4011 extends up to

  • TransitFit: combined multi-instrument exoplanet transit fitting for JWST, HST, and ground-based transmission spectroscopy studies
We present TRANSITFIT 1, a package designed to fit exoplanetary transit light curves. TRANSITFIT offers multi-epoch, multi-wavelength fitting of multi-telescope transit data. TRANSITFIT allows per-telescope detrending to be performed simultaneously with transit parameter fitting, including custom detrending. Host limb darkening can be fitted using

  • TOI-5126: a hot super-Neptune and warm Neptune pair discovered by TESS and CHEOPS
We present the confirmation of a hot super-Neptune with an exterior Neptune companion orbiting a bright (V = 10.1 mag) F-dwarf identified by the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS). The two planets, observed in sectors 45, 46, and 48 of the TESS extended mission, are $4.74_{-0.14}^{+0.16}$ and $3.86_{-0.16}^{+0.17}$ R ⊕ with $5.4588385_{-0
