  • Multiwavelength variability analysis of Fermi-LAT blazars
Blazars present highly variable gamma-ray emission. This variability, which can range from a few minutes to several years, is also observed at other wavelengths across the entire electromagnetic spectrum. We make use of the first 12 yr of data from the Fermi Large Area Telescope, complemented with multiwavelength (MWL) archival data from different

  • OGLE-2014-BLG-0221Lb: A Jupiter Mass Ratio Companion Orbiting Either a Late-type Star or a Stellar Remnant
We present the analysis of the microlensing event OGLE-2014-BLG-0221, a planetary candidate event discovered in 2014. The photometric light curve is best described by a binary-lens single-source model. Our light-curve modeling finds two degenerate models, with event timescales of t E ∼ 70 days and ∼110 days. These timescales are relatively long

  • Discovery prospects with the Dark-photons & Axion-like particles Interferometer
We discuss the discovery potential of the Dark-photons & Axion-like particles Interferometer in this paper. The apparatus, currently in a design and prototyping phase, will probe axion dark matter from the Teide Observatory, an environment protected from terrestrial microwave sources, reaching Dine-Fischler-Srednicki-Zhitnitsky-like axion

  • Evidence for Evolved Stellar Binary Mergers in Observed B-type Blue Supergiants
Blue supergiants are the brightest stars in their host galaxies, and yet their evolutionary status has been a long-standing problem in stellar astrophysics. In this pioneering work, we present a large sample of 59 early B-type supergiants in the Large Magellanic Cloud with newly derived stellar parameters and identify the signatures of stars born

  • Bar pattern speed at z∼1-2 to explore challenges of the Standard Cosmology
Stellar bars drive the galaxy secular evolution. While rotating around the galaxy centre with a given angular frequency, the bar pattern speed, they sweep material and modify the galaxy structure. In the LCDM model, bars are expected to slow down by exchanging angular momentum with the other omponents and/or through dynamical friction exerted by

  • Probing the Structure of SDSS J1004+4112 through Microlensing Analysis of Spectroscopic Data
We aim to uncover the structure of the continuum and broad emission line (BEL) emitting regions in the gravitationally lensed quasar SDSS J1004+4112 through unique microlensing signatures. Analyzing 20 spectroscopic observations from 2003 to 2018, we study the striking deformations of various BEL profiles and determine the sizes of their respective
