  • SDSS WD main-sequence binaries. XII. (Nebot Gomez-Moran+, 2011)
Table3.dat lists only radial velocities used for the identification of the binary as a close or wide binary candidate. Table4.dat contains the total number of spectra used for identification of the binary, the number of spectra from own spectroscopic follow-up observations and the statistical significance of the radial velocity variations. • Resolving the nuclear dust distribution of the Seyfert 2 galaxy NGC 3081
We report far-infrared (FIR) imaging of the Seyfert 2 galaxy NGC 3081 in the range 70-500 μm, obtained with an unprecedented angular resolution, using the Herschel Space Observatory instruments PACS and SPIRE. The 11 kpc (˜70 arcsec) diameter star-forming ring of the galaxy appears resolved up to 250 μm. We extracted IR (1.6-500 μm) nuclear fluxes

  • Quasifission and Fusion-Fission Competition in 32S + 184W Reaction
The angular distribution of fission fragments for the 32S+184W reaction at center-of-mass energies of 118.8, 123.1, 127.3, 131.5, 135.8, 141.1 and 144.4 MeV were measured. The experimental fission excitation function is obtained. The fragment angular anisotropy is found by extrapolating the fission angular distributions. The measured fission cross

  • Overview of an extensive multi-wavelength study of GX 339-4 during the 2010 outburst
Context. The microquasar GX 339-4 experienced a new outburst in 2010: it was observed simultaneously at various wavelengths from radio up to soft γ-rays. We focus on observations that are quasi-simultaneous with those made with the INTEGRAL and RXTE satellites: these were collected in 2010 March-April during our INTEGRAL target of opportunity

  • Outflows from Active Galactic Nuclei: Kinematics of the Narrow-line and Coronal-line Regions in Seyfert Galaxies
As part of an extensive study of the physical properties of active galactic nuclei (AGNs) we report high spatial resolution near-IR integral-field spectroscopy of the narrow-line region (NLR) and coronal-line region (CLR) of seven Seyfert galaxies. These measurements elucidate for the first time the two-dimensional spatial distribution and
