Throughout its history, the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) has built a strong human, intellectual and professional bond with the people who have been part of the institution.

The Forever IAC initiative is a meeting space aimed at former IAC employees and, in particular, those who are retired, with the purpose of continuing to foster a sense of belonging to the institution, the exchange of knowledge and active participation in outreach and academic initiatives.

This proposal arises from the interest of those who have been part of the IAC and wish to remain connected to the center. Therefore, all individuals who have been part of the institution are invited to join this initiative, with the aim of keeping this shared bond alive.

The IAC invites all its former employees to join this initiative and to continue being an active part of the community.

Members of Forever IAC can take part in a wide variety of activities focused on meeting, learning and exchanging experiences, such as talks, conferences, practical workshops or guided visits.

In addition, social gatherings are promoted that encourage interaction and reunion among its members.

This form is intended for all individuals who have been part of the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (both direct and indirect former staff of the Consortium) and who wish to join the Forever IAC community, with the aim of maintaining their connection with the institution and encouraging participation in outreach, scientific and social activities.
