  • Stellar evolution models for Z = 0.0001 to 0.03
We have calculated a grid of empirically well tested evolutionary tracks with masses M between 0.5 and 50Msolar, spaced by approximately 0.1 in log M, and with metallicities Z=0.0001, 0.0003, 0.001, 0.004, 0.01, 0.02 and 0.03. We use a robust and fast evolution code with a self-adaptive non-Lagrangian mesh, which employs the mixing-length theory

  • Stellar kinematics and dark matter in dwarf galaxies
In this review I will discuss the current status on determinations of the dark matter content and distribution in Milky Way dwarf spheroidals, for which the available data-sets allow the application of sophisticated mass modeling techniques.

  • Stellar kinematics and dark matter in dwarf galaxies
In this review I will tour through the most recent findings on the internal kinematic properties of Local Group dwarf galaxies, as determined from extensive spectroscopic surveys of their stellar component.I will also discuss the current status on determinations of the dark matter content and distribution in these objects, with particular focus on

  • Stellar parameters of metal-rich solar-type stars (Sousa+, 2006)
Table 23 (tables 2 & 3 of the paper) contains the derived stellar parameters, metallicities, and masses, for stars not known to harbor any planetary-mass companion. Table 4 contains the derived stellar parameters, metallicities, and masses, for extra-solar planet-host stars. (2 data files).

  • Stellar Population Challenge: analysis of M67 with the VO
In this poster we present the analysis of the CMD of M67 (proposed in the Stellar Population Challenge) performed with VO applications. We found that, although the VO environment is still not ready to perform a complete analysis, its use provides highly useful additional information for the analysis. Thanks to the current VO framework, we are able
