  • Spitzer Parallax of OGLE-2018-BLG-0596: A Low-mass-ratio Planet around an M Dwarf
We report the discovery of a Spitzer microlensing planet OGLE-2018-BLG-0596Lb, with preferred planet-host mass ratio q ∼ 2 × 10‑4. The planetary signal, which is characterized by a short (∼1 day) “bump” on the rising side of the lensing light curve, was densely covered by ground-based surveys. We find that the signal can be explained by a bright

  • SOLAR ABUNDANCES FROM THREE-DIMENSIONAL EMPIRICAL MODELS

  • SHEDDING LIGHT ON GLOBULAR CLUSTER FORMATION: AGE AND CHEMICAL COMPOSITION IN THE MULTIPLE STELLAR POPULATION SCENARIO

  • Revisiting the impact of stellar magnetic activity on the detection of solar-like oscillations by Kepler
Over 2,000 stars were observed for one month with a high enough cadence in order to look for acoustic modes during the survey phase of the Kepler mission. Solar-like oscillations have been detected in about 540 stars. The question of why no oscillations were detected in the remaining stars is still open. Previous works explained the non-detection
