• Synthetic galaxy clusters and observations based on Dark Energy Survey Year 3 Data
We develop a novel data-driven method for generating synthetic optical observations of galaxy clusters. In cluster weak lensing, the interplay between analysis choices and systematic effects related to source galaxy selection, shape measurement, and photometric redshift estimation can be best characterized in end-to-end tests going from mock

• System parameters of three short-period cataclysmic variable stars
Using photometric ULTRACAM observations of three new short-period cataclysmic variables (CVs), we model the primary eclipse light curves to extract the orbital separation, masses, and radii of their component stars. We find donor masses of $0.060\pm 0.008\, {\rm M_\odot }$, $0.042\pm 0.001\, {\rm M_\odot }$, and $0.042\pm 0.004\, {\rm M_\odot }$

• Systematic KMTNet Planetary Anomaly Search. II. Six New q < 2 × 10-4 Mass-ratio Planets
We apply the automated AnomalyFinder algorithm of Paper I to 2018-2019 light curves from the ≃13 deg 2 covered by the six KMTNet prime fields, with cadences Γ ≥ 2 hr -1. We find a total of 11 planets with mass ratios q < 2 × 10 -4, including 6 newly discovered planets, 1 planet that was reported in Paper I, and recovery of 4 previously discovered

• The DES view of the Eridanus supervoid and the CMB cold spot
The Cold Spot is a puzzling large-scale feature in the Cosmic Microwave Background temperature maps and its origin has been subject to active debate. As an important foreground structure at low redshift, the Eridanus supervoid was recently detected, but it was subsequently determined that, assuming the standard ΛCDM model, only about 10-20 per cent

• The return of the spin period in DW Cnc and evidence of new high state outbursts
DW Cnc is an intermediate polar which has previously been observed in both high and low states. Observations of the high state of DW Cnc have previously revealed a spin period at ~38.6 min, however, observations from the 2018 to 2019 low state showed no evidence of the spin period. We present results from our analysis of 12 s cadence photometric

• The updated BASTI stellar evolution models and isochrones - III. White dwarfs
We present new cooling models for carbon-oxygen white dwarfs (WDs) with both H- and He-atmospheres, covering the whole relevant mass range, to extend our updated BASTI (a Bag of Stellar Tracks and Isochrones) stellar evolution archive. They have been computed using core chemical stratifications obtained from new progenitor calculations, adopting a
