Based on ISO SWS+LWS observations, we identify IRAS 16594-4656 as a new member of the rare class of C-rich proto-planetary nebulae with the 21 μm dust feature in emission. In addition, the major PAHs emission bands at 3.3, 6.2, 7.7, 8.6 and 11.3 μm are detected, together with unusually strong features at 12.6 and 13.4 μm , very rarely observed

Geochemical study of lunar meteorite EET96008 shows that it is a heterogeneous basaltic breccia containing matrix and clasts of variable composition. Comparison with EET87521 shows that the two breccias are almost certainly paired meteorites.

We imaged the X-ray error box of GRB 980703, beginning 22.5 hr after the gamma-ray event, in both the optical R and near-infrared H bands. A fading optical/IR object was detected within the X-ray error box, coincident with the variable radio source reported by Frail et al. in 1998, who also detected the optical transient independently of us
