Kinematics of the Ionized Gas in the Irregular Galaxies IC 10 and NGC 4449We present preliminary results of the kinematics of HII regions and diffuse gas in the irregular galaxies IC10 and NGC 4449. From Fabry-Perot Hα and [SII] observations, we have measured the radial velocities and velocity dispersions of the HII regions in these galaxies and compared them with a similar analysis done in the Small Magellanic Cloud.
