The "Roads, Mobility, Innovation and Culture Area" belonging to the Island Council of Tenerife has financed the hiring of IACTEC researchers in the "Space" (Microsatellites, Remote Sensing, Optical Communications), "Advanced Manufacturing of Optical Systems" and " Medical Technology" through the "IACTEC Technological Training" project. 

The annual financial budget comes from the Canary Islands Development Fund, within the framework of the Strategic Framework for Island Development (MEDI) 2016-2025. Currently, this funding covers up to 16 technologists assigned to Training projects.
