The Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) has been an active participant in the developement of this spectrograph which will be used for the first time on the European Extremely Large Telescope.
This morning in Alicante has started the 100xCiencia.2 meeting, which today and tomorrow brings together the vanguard of Spanish research: the Severo Ochoa centres, among them the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC), and the María de Maeztu units of excellence.
