El evento, clave para la industria de pequeños satélites, está sirviendo de plataforma para presentar proyectos innovadores y establecer colaboraciones estratégicas en especial sobre los proyectos DRAGO, los instrumentos canarios con capacidad de detectar imágenes

  • Dispositivo PINRELL para el estudio del pie diabético /Inés Bonet
    Con motivo del Día Mundial de la Diabetes el 14 de noviembre, el IAC anuncia el lanzamiento del nuevo programa de ampliación de la Base de Datos con la que cuenta el equipo de investigación. Los nuevos datos contribuirán al avance en el diagnóstico precoz de patologías del pie diabético. Las personas que quieran colaborar, pueden pedir cita a partir del día 19, rellenando un formulario en la página web del IAC.

  • On February 21st and 22nd 2024, IACTEC organized a hybrid presential/telecom course on dissemination of Space Sciences with online tools, dedicated to secondary school teachers. Themes covered include wildfire observation from space using the Earth Observation Browser from Copernicus Project (a specific course on EO Browser had already been held in 2023), solar panels seen from space using Geographical Information Systems such as Google Earth and Google Maps, Near Earth Objets, and light pollution.   • Clemencia Hardisson Expo@IACTEC
    This exhibition is a journey through the life of the La Laguna aristocrat Clemencia Hardisson, who, among other contributions, gave the land on which the IAC Headquarters and the Museum of Science and the Cosmos, are currently erected, among other purpose-built buildings, public and private. The exhibition will be open in the Multipurpose room of the IACTEC building, in the morning and afternoon, and admission will be open to the public, free of charge.
