Description
We present one new radio identification and one confirmation of two high-latitude gamma-ray sources detected by CGRO-EGRET, based on flux density measurements at 1.3 mm (Caltech Submillimeter Observatory2) and 1.3 cm (Metsähovi Research Station) of objects in the EGRET error boxes. We identify EGRET sources 10744+5438 and J1239+044l with 87GB 073840.5+545138 and 87GB 123701.3+045944, respectively, both 5-GHz radio sources from the GB6 catalog (Gregory & Condon 1991, APJS, 75, 1011). The broad-band energy distributions of these two objects suggest that they have steeper spectra below the turnover frequency than is the case for most blazars in the Second EGRET Catalog. In addition, they tend to have lower radio luminosities relative to their gamma-ray luminosities than most of the EGRET blazars. J1239+0441 has no previous identification with a source in another waveband, while our identification of 10744+5438 is consistent with that of Mukherjee et al. (1995, ApJ, 445, 189). We also report 1.3-mm flux densities of five other gamma-ray blazars.
