The GLORIA Project, in which the IAC is a participant, will webcast the astronomical event live from the Inca Saksaywaman site in Cuzco (Peru). Another GLORIA team will observe the event from the peak of Mount Teide (Tenerife), showing how the shadow of the volcano aligns with the eclipsed Moon.
- Connection 1: 15 April 2014 from 6:30 to 7:10 UT (7:30 to 8:10 local Canarian summer time; 8:30 to 9:10 Spanish peninsular time). Tenerife images and the start of eclipse totality from Peru.
- Connection 2: 15 April 2014 from 8:20 to 8:35 UT (9:20 to 9:35 local Canarian summer time; 10:20 to 10:35 Spanish peninsular time).to observe the end of the total eclipse from Peru.
