
The Director of the Institute of Astrophysics of the Canaries, Rafael Rebolo, inaugurated, last Friday, June 5th, in the presence of the President of the Cabildo of Tenerife, Carlos Alonso, of the Director of the Canarian Agency of Research, Innovation, and the Information Society (ACIISI), Juan Ruiz Alzola, of the Director General for Culture of the Canary Regional Government, Xerach Gutiérrez Ortega, and the Rector of the University of La Laguna, Antonio Martinón, the exhibition "Lights of the Universe" to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Canary Island Observatories. The curators of the exhibition, IAC researchers Ignacio García de la Rosa and Juan Antonio Belmonte explained to those present the contents of this interactive exhibition (for which entry is free) which will be open to the public until June 28th in the Art Gallery of the Institute of the Canaries Cabrera Pinto ( La Laguna).
