The objective of this conference is to bring the industry closer to the current and future technological opportunities and challenges of the Canary Islands Observatories.
During this conference, participants will be able to learn first-hand about business opportunities and technological developments related to new scientific facilities that are taking shape in the Canary Islands, such as large telescopes (CTA North, EST, NRT or Small ELF) and other projects in the field of Astrophysics (ATLAS, CMB Quijote, FSOC, DALI, TOT4...). In addition, they will learn first-hand about the updates and new investments in the Gran Telescopio de Canarias, as well as the space for strategic collaboration with industry (IACTEC), the technical infrastructure of the IAC and the services it provides to industry.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to request B2B meetings with technicians from the Canary Islands Observatories on the first day of the event. Also, on the second day, they will be able to visit the IACTEC facilities as well as the IAC instrumentation area or, alternatively, hold more intensive meetings with IAC staff with whom they have met the previous day.
